Blakeslee Door-Type Dishwasher Has New Standard Features
Chicago, Illinois – Blakeslee has announced that their popular D-8 Series Door-Type Dishwashers have been upgraded with a package of new performance enhancing features, including several optional controls that are now standard. The list of new standard features includes: one touch Auto-Fill; Automatic Water Level Control; a choice of door cycle switch or manual push-button START; and four different Cleaning-Cycle Time Selections.
The new D-8 Cleaning-Cycle Time Selector allows the operator to choose a one, two, four or full six minute wash cycle, to better match the load size, type of dishware and soil condition of the load to be cleaned. When doing glassware or lightly soiled dishes, a shorter cleaning cycle will reduce water usage, energy costs and the cost of cleaning chemicals used.
“The potential cost savings can be substantial for some operators,” according to Gary Stafseth, Blakeslee’s National Sales Manager. “Our Door Models have always been popular. These control enhancements make a great dish machine even better and more economical for our customers.”
D-8 Door-Type Dishwashers feature a rugged stainless steel welded frame, oversize legs, and all stainless steel high pressure pump. Blakeslee’s signature one piece, four-sided door with top has a wrap-around handle and two heavy-duty rear-mounted springs, to make loading, unloading and interior cleaning easier. Separate top and bottom wash and spray arm systems provide more effective cleaning and sanitation of dishware and they are removable without tools, for easy cleaning.
The Blakeslee D-8 Model is rated to wash up to 55 racks of dishes per hour, when set for a one-minute cycle. Blakeslee Door-Type Dishwashers are also available in a two rack Double D-8 model, with twice the dish capacity; and in a “Tall” Model (D-8T) that can accommodate 18” x 26” bake pans and large pots. Built-in electric or steam heated water booster heaters are available as an option.
